That depends on many factors, including how long the preparation takes – which involves the consultation, sketching, any necessary revisions and placement. It also depends on where on the body the tattoo will be placed, the size of the design, and how many details and colors it includes – all of which affect the actual tattooing time. And, of course, you’re paying for experience and expertise. An artist with 2 years of experience charges different rates than someone with 10 years, but they are usually faster and deliver a more consistent result. Finally, there are factors like taxes, materials and rent, which also vary from person to person. All of this must be factored into the price.

When talking to your artist, be sure to discuss the price or a price range.
As a rough guide: We typically work with hourly or daily rates, some do piece rates.

The minimum price for a tattoo at our studio is usually €100–150.

A “flash” or “wanna-do” is a design that tattoo artists create to define their style or to inspire others. It’s the opposite of a custom tattoo, where you bring your own idea. Our Wanna-Dos are usually done only once and are therefore one-of-a-kind. There are also repeating flash designs, which are a bit cheaper, and you might end up with a matching tattoo with a mysterious person. If a design you like is already taken, it’s always possible to create a variation.

You can find our artists’ flash sheets here or on Instagram.

Do you have an idea—or have you fallen in love with one of our designs? Then get in touch with us, either via the contact form or directly by email, with the following information:

  • Artist
  • Idea/Design
  • Reference images
  • Body location/Size in cm
  • Budget
  • Availability (2–3 possible dates)

We’ll get back to you within a week to discuss the details. Once the deposit is received, your appointment is confirmed.
To give you an idea of what the tattoo will look like, we’ll send you a sketch no later than the day before your appointment. You’re welcome to request changes at that point, though this may affect the price. However, two to three revisions are always included, depending on the effort involved.

To schedule an appointment, our tattoo artists require a deposit of at least €40–€80, depending on the complexity of the design and the artist. This deposit will be deducted from the total price and is non-refundable.

Each artist has their own policy regarding when the deposit is forfeited and when an appointment can be rescheduled without penalty. Typically, 24–48 hours before the appointment is the guideline to follow. Please always clarify this in advance.

Once the appointment is set and you’ve discussed the design and price range, let’s get started!

Here are our recommendations:

Some artists prefer that you shave the skin the night before, while others prefer to do it themselves on-site. Please discuss this individually.

Your outfit should be comfortable and either dark-colored or old – tattoo ink is very difficult to remove. Pay attention to personal hygiene and please refrain from wearing perfume.

On the day of your appointment, it’s best to arrive well-rested, sober, and well-fed. Bring some snacks with you if you’re concerned about low blood pressure. Some artists offer lunch during day sessions – please check this in advance.

There are different approaches to initial aftercare depending on your skin type and the tattoo:

Second Skin:

Carefully remove the film after 2–5 days under lukewarm water

Clean the wound with water and pat it dry with a clean cloth—avoid rubbing and just gently dab

Dry Loc Pads/Plastic Wrap:

You can remove the bandage after at least 4 hours. If you get tattooed in the afternoon or evening, you can also leave the bandage on the tattoo overnight.

When you remove the bandage, clean the tattoo with clean hands, water and a fragrance-free, mild soap. Carefully remove all residue (cream, blood, etc.). Dab the tattoo dry with clean paper towels and/or let it air dry. Then apply a thin layer of tattoo aftercare cream. Do not cover the area again afterward.

From here on, the process remains the same:

From now on, apply a thin layer of cream to the wound 3–5 times a day—we have cream available at the studio, or ask your artist which brand is recommended

Throughout the entire healing process (approx. 2–4
weeks), protect the tattoo from UV rays, sweat, chlorine, dirt, salt water, friction, alcohol, drying out and soaking of the skin (i.e. no swimming, no sauna, no bathing, no sunbathing, no intense exercise etc.)

Continue to protect the tattoo from direct sunlight (SPF 50 sunscreen)

If complications arise, please contact your artist immediately.

After 6–8 weeks, we would greatly appreciate receiving a photo of the healed area for quality control purposes.

It’s always possible that parts of the tattoo may fade during the healing process. The better you follow the aftercare instructions, the lower the risk. However, since everyone’s skin is different, there’s no guarantee. That’s why it’s super important that you send a photo taken in good lighting 1–2 months after getting the tattoo. Then we can decide together whether we need to do a touch-up. Depending on the artist, we do this for free 3–6 months after the tattoo is done; after that, it’s only free in combination with a new tattoo. It’s best to discuss the exact deadlines directly with your artist.

Please come alone. If that’s not possible, please discuss it with your artist so we can find a good solution for everyone involved. Our studio is quite small, we need to stay focused while working, and if several people are working at the same time, it can easily get too crowded. Thank you for your consideration!

The studio is on the ground floor, though unfortunately there is a step at the entrance. However, we have a portable ramp with a 20% incline and we’re happy to help you get in and out. The entrance door is 95 cm wide. The rest of the studio is at ground level. We have a unisex restroom accessible through two doors (85 cm and 70 cm wide). There is a grab bar next to the toilet for support and it is also large enough for a manual wheelchair. We also have height-adjustable tattoo beds.

Please feel free to contact us if anything is unclear or if you have further questions. We’d love for everyone who wants to come to be able to do so.
